Flashlight Body Optimization
The brief was a flashlight body that stayed stiff in a three-point bend test without getting heavy. I ran FEA studies in SolidWorks Simulation across a range of cross-sections and wall thicknesses, then piled material where the stress concentrated and stripped it from everywhere else. Ours finished with the third-lowest deflection-to-weight ratio in the class.
